Guide Cats CDs
The Guide Cats CDs are the result of one man's extraordinary idea, and the incredible generosity of a great many others. BCAB member Clive Lever is the man with the idea, and driving force behind this outstanding fund raising initiative.
Mancunian folk poet, comic genius and professional idiot Les Barker has donated all of the material for each of the Guide Cats CDs. It was the name of one of Les' early poems, Guide Cats for the Blind, that set the tone for everything that came after.
All proceeds from the sale of the Guide Cats CDs goes towards BCAB's EyeT4All Project. The project introduces blind and partially sighted people to affordable and easy to use access technologies. EyeT4All days are hosted by local societies for the blind, libraries and other community centres, and are delivered by fully qualified BCAB trainers.
