Guide Cats CDs
- fIn the beginning, there was Guide Cats for the Blind, a double CD featuring the songs and poems of Les Barker, read by a host of celebrities. Then came The Missing Persians File, a single CD follow up, crammed with more witty words from Les Barker, read by more of your favourite household names.
Now, there is Top Cat, White Tie and Tails, the latest single CD to join the Guide Cats series. It delivers more of the gloriously entertaining poems of Les Barker, read by even more of your favourite celebrities.
Guide Cats for the Blind, the first of these fund raising CDs has now sold over 2400 copies, and sales of The Missing Persians File are climbing. Between them, nearly £30,000 have been raised, with all proceeds going to fund the BCAB EyeT4All initiative. Proceeds from sales of Top Cat, White Tie and Tails will also go towards this innovative initiative, which aims to introduce affordable access technology to people with visual impairments.

One of the best ways to support BCAB raising funds for the EyeT4All Project is to request a track from the Guide Cats CDs on your favourite radio station. You can usually do this by email or telephone. Contact details for most regional and national radio shows can be found on their websites.
