Chairman to do sponsored walk in aid of EyeT4All

The Chairman of BCAB Derek Naysmith, who is totally blind, will carry out a 98 mile walk with the aid of two sighted guides this summer. The walk takes place in the Lake district, and Derek will be walking in aid of the EyeT4All project.

The walk will start at Ambleside on the 13th September go via Rosthwaitte, Braithwaite, Buttermere, Broughton on Furness, Eskdale and return to Ambleside on the 19th September.

Several years ago Bob Goodwin carried out a sponsored pub crawl via the Circle line in London.  This is a slightly more severe pub ‘walk’ as the route is not called the Inn Way for nothing!

If you would like to sponsor Derek then please go to http://www.justgiving.com/eyet4all
