A monthly telephone helpline available to BCAB members. You can call and speak to one of our experienced team, who will be able to help with your computer and technology related questions. Please login to the BCAB members area for more information.

Fix The Web

If you have trouble using a website with your screen reader or magnifier, you can quickly report it to Fix The Web. A network of volunteers will contact the website owner on your behalf and work with them to resolve the problem. There are three easy ways to report a problem:

  1. Send a brief email with the web address and problem.
  2. Send a tweet that includes #fixtheweb #fail web address problem.
  3. Fill out a three line form on the Fix The Web website.

IT Can Help

A network of volunteers from the British Computer Society who can help blind and partially sighted people with technical support. They can visit you at home to help with hardware and software setup, upgrades and ongoing technical queries.

RNIB volunteers across the UK who can visit blind and partially sighted people at home to help with technical support. They can help with computer setup and general troubleshooting.
