BCAB is a lively community of blind and partially sighted people. Our members include people of all skill levels, ages and interests.
You can join BCAB in two simple steps.
Step 1 Create an account
With a free account you can join the BCAB technology forum and PocketPC discussion forum. They're email discussion lists for everyone interested in technology from the point of view of blind and partially sighted people.
Step 2 Choose your membership
There are four types of paid membership to choose from: Full, Associate, Commercial and Community. Every member enjoys the following benefits:
- Access to member-only content, including technology guides, product reviews and Soundbytes audio articles.
- Priority booking, and member-only rates for events, products and tutorials.
- Regular newsletters, with technology articles, reports and news from BCAB.
More for individual members
Individual members can join the BCAB online community. Choose to share information with other (Full or Associate) members through your profile page, and connect with people who share your areas of interest. You'll be able to post comments on articles, product reviews and other member-only content, and you'll also be able to apply to the BCAB scholarship fund.
Individual membership is £21 per year (£15 for Associate members).
More for commercial and community members
Commercial and Community members can display information on the BCAB website. Choose to share information with everyone, including contact details, product news, current activities or upcoming events.
Commercial membership is £105 per year (£50 for Community members).
