BCAB’s annual event for 2016. Join us for a weekend of technology seminars, social fun, and a little bit of BCAB business!
TechABreak 2016 features four seminars, a hands-on technology exhibition and the RNIB Connect technology panel.
Seminar topics include the groundbreaking improvements from Microsoft in Windows 10 for desktop and mobile platforms, how to turn analogue audio into a digital form, an in-depth look at the market for braille note-taking (especially exciting given the changes in the market for this year), and wearable technology and the particular impacts it has on the blind and visually-impaired.
New to 2016, the exhibition will showcase approximately 10 companies bringing some of the products they sell with them, giving you plenty of time to get hands-on and in-depth with questions.

TechABreak 2016 will be at the Crewe Arms hotel in Cheshire. It's a friendly hotel recommended by BCAB members, located just across the street from Crewe train station.
There will be a regular meeting point at the station for anyone who would like assistance across to the hotel on Friday afternoon.
Friday 7th to Sunday 9th October 2016.
Join us for the full TechABreak weekend or choose the package that suits you best. Non-participating partners and companions are welcome too.
