TechChats are informal meet-ups, hosted by BCAB supporters and open to anyone who is blind or partially sighted.
TechChats are held online, on the phone and in person. Find out about upcoming TechChats below, and how to host a TechChat meetup in your area.
Join Mike Townsend, Andrew Hodgson, Léonie Watson and Muzz Lakhani for TechChat Bristol. If you're blind or partially sighted and enjoy talking about technology, come along (and bring a friend)!
- Saturday 21st February 2015.
- White Bear pub"
It's easy to host a TechChat. It just takes three simple steps:
- Find a pub.
It should be convenient to reach, and have enough space for a few people to gather and talk. Somewhere that does "pub grub" food is a good idea.
- Choose a date and time.
Weekday evenings (5pm onwards), or weekend afternoons (2pm onwards) are good choices. Weekday evenings are the usual choice for meet-ups like this, but the choice is yours.
- Tell us about it.
Let us know the venue, date and time of your TechChat, and we'll post the information on the BCAB website. We'll also help you promote it through our email and social networking channels. Email the details to firstname.lastname@example.org.
