BCAB Chair Léonie Watson joined the RNIB Insight Radio Tech Talk programme today. With news from the Apple iPhone5c/s launch still hot off the press, Léonie discussed the challenges facing blind and partially sighted people on the web and the impact of mobile devices like the iPhone.
Apple announced two new handsets at the launch today. The iPhone5s is the high end model, with a continuous motion monitoring chip, thumprint scanner and 64bit processor amongst its new features. The iPhone5c has less features, but it is available in different colours (white, yellow, pink, blue and green), and will come with a considerably lower price tag.
